The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is the Government of India's nodal ministry for solar, wind and other renewable energy programmes. Alien Energy was entrusted with setting up a 1240 kW on-grid rooftop solar power plant for MNRE in New Delhi.
The plant feeds clean electricity directly into the building's supply and the grid, reducing dependence on conventional power and demonstrating what large-scale rooftop solar can achieve on government buildings.
